Mais Fica - Our Wines

As a micro boutique winery and vineyard we can do more things by hand and in small lots that larger wineries cannot afford to do. We plan to limit our production to less than 500 cases per year. All of the wine is made in small lots by ourselves and our family and friends who donate their time and efforts generously. The grapes are hand picked and sorted before destemming and crushing. Fermentation takes place in small open top bins which allows for punching down manually three times a day. After pressing, the wine is aged in a combination of French, Hungarian and American oak as well as small stainless steel barrels. The barrels are stored in our temperature and humidity controlled bonded winery until ready for bottling.
